Market Research

Description: This three day workshop gives practical experience performing critical skills for planning, conducting, and documenting a Market Research effort. You will work in a small, multi-functional group to plan and conduct Market Research needed to draft an Operational Requirements Document (SIC), conduct CAIV analysis, refine the ORD, make a commerciality decision, and draft key portions of a solicitation. Templates and school solutions serve as models for your future use in your own job.

This workshop is based on a business case analysis of a non-major system acquisition. Techniques apply to any procurement even spares or services. The workshop supports workers from any functional specialty involved in writing requirements, developing, buying, supporting, or using commercial materiel and services.

Who Should Attend? Government and Industry workers in all specialties responsible for requirements, design, acquisition, support and procurement of Army material. This includes, but is not limited to the Engineering, Logistics, Contracting, Budget Specialists, User and Industry Representatives.

Course Length: 3-Day Workshop

Continuing Education Unit Credits (CEU): 2.4 CEUs will be awarded upon completion of the entire course.
